With the warmer spring weather and festivities this time of year brings, it is the perfect season for a lovely spring tea party! Whether you are hosting a bridal or baby shower, honoring Mom for Mother’s Day, or simply want to get together for a relaxing afternoon with friends; a tea party, with vegan dessert recipes and tea pairings, is a fun way to celebrate almost any occasion!
When planning your tea party, you’ll of course want to have a colorful tea pot and tea cups and saucers on hand; but a delicious menu selection and carefully selected tea pairings is a must. And if light, citrusy desserts are more your thing, then you’ll want to serve a full-bodied tea with hints of citrus, such as Earl Grey Tea. Citrus desserts can also be paired with earthy green teas, which will complement the tangy citrus flavors.
